My Cultural/Educational Experience Abroad Past Review

I learned so much from my experience abroad! I studied abroad because I wanted to have a cultural experience and learn as much about my host country, and every other country I visited, as possible; and, I was successful with this goal. Studying abroad was an incredible, life-changing experience that has changed me as a person. I was able to immerse myself in many different cultures which was so enlightening and has helped me view our culture from a different perspective. I developed so many skills that will help me throughout my life, such an independence and problem solving. I am so incredibly happy I made the decision to go abroad, and I think everyone should have this experience.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The classes themselves were not overly difficult due to the fact that there was not daily homework. However, I feel like I learned a lot from all of my classes. My lecturers were absolutely wonderful (especially my British Horror teacher) and I really enjoyed the seminar component to all of the classes. |

I cannot complain about having a single and my own bathroom in London! |

It was kind of hard to meet British students since there were so many associate/international students at Queen Mary. I met a lot of people from other countries which I loved, but I was not able to meet too many British students outside of classes. |

I always felt safe in London. As long as you know where you are, you should be safe. I never felt unsafe walking alone around the city or around my school. |

I think you can spend as much or as little as you want, it all depends on how often you go out/how often you cook your own food. |
