Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Perfect workload. Had four outstanding instructors, one mediocre, and one very poor.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

A student died of an illness while on our trip and the staff was amazing in a situation I consider the strongest test.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Always arranged vegetarian meal options at group functions. Best places to eat: Pizza Express, Costa Coffee, Patesserie Valerie, My Old Dutch.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Trips to Belgium, Ireland, and Scotland all rocked.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

London is very safe, so long as you follow advice on not walking alone late at night in sketchy areas and the like. I student died due to illness. He contracted a rare form on meningitis.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I was well prepared for what I was spending.
