What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained an amazing experience with some wonderful women. This summer was all about spending time with some incredibly intelligent women. This includes both the girls on the trip with me (we were in a unique group, there were about 25 girls and no boys), and the instructor of the art history course that I took, Anja Novak, and the lovely staff at the IES abroad center in Amsterdam; Chantal, Anabelle and Diana. Without them, I would not have felt as comfortable in the city as I did, and my experience would have been nowhere near as fulfilling.

Housing was generally wonderful, and we lived in student apartments in a building with other international students. The only issue my roommate and I had was the flooding of our apartment, which we were told was a common issue in the building. |
