The interdisciplinary, on-site learning served me in ways that will forever abide in my memory as one of the best semesters and seasons of my life. I wish I could study abroad every semester!

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • spring break in Turkey
  • visited ancient sites (Delphi)
  • courses taught by authentic Greeks
* What could be improved?
  • less alcohol consumption/beligerance by staff
  • more emphesis on Greek language
  • more Cycladic excursions to surrounding islands
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That I would be rooming with all American females. Had I known this, I would probably select a separate program to experience more cultural diversity.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
