Safety was never a direct concern but was always in the back of my mind. Being aware of your surroundings, and avoiding walking alone at night are helpful ways to feel safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Being able to live in Israel was the highlight, and the coursework was interesting but not particularly challenging

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Prices are on the higher side but buying groceries at local markets and cooking meals was a good way to keep costs down.
