LOVED Savoula!! The work load was a lot, so I felt like I didn’t have any free time to explore the city during the weeks.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Gabriel was clearly worse than Maro. It would have been more fair to all be at Maro if possible. I liked that Gabriel had washers.

The food everywhere was amazing

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I feel like we didn’t do much with locals since our classes were separated, but every local we talked to all over was very kind and welcoming.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Didn’t have any issues

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make your own meals during week most of time if you aren’t on a meal plan. Save up for eating out on weekends and going out. Gifts add up quickly as well.
