What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much about the values of Danish people and especially how they see the world and themselves in the world. It was completely different from American culture which I was not expecting. It was definitely worth it and an eye opening experience.

Pretty organized. The study tours were great.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

It was a standard dorm room. Furnished with a desk, bookshelf, bed, and small table.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Because casual small talk between strangers is not common in Danish culture it leaves a lot of room for the individual to be responsible for their own immersion.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Never had severe health issues while abroad but from what I hear from other students it was fair.

* Safety:

Very safe city.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The program really made Europe your classroom and where you studied.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It was quite hard to buy food for myself and budget the first couple weeks.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try not to eat out as much during the weekdays. And pack your lunch!
