DIS Copenhagen: Semester

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I think I gained a new perspective in looking at the world, especially due to study tours and field studies that allows one to think in academic mind sets even in what would be considered a 'fun' experience, or just going on trips with people who have similar academic interest and knowledge really made me happy because I could share many of my insights and the people I was with was excited to hear it, and ready to share their own.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I don't remember room & boarding expense that is required, other than it was cheaper than Wellesley room and board, and we were given a food stipend but it was like $650 for the term?

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Academic or Linguist
You went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you!
