DIS Copenhagen: Semester

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was a great experience to learn about yourself and become a new peson. I learned so much about Denmark, and even America! I made new friendships that will last a long time and saw countries and city that I never thought I would get the opportunity to! It was completely worthwhile, and I wish I could relive it again and again!

Other people were placed in the city in nice living arrangements. I was placed further from the city which was okay, but the place was very gross. I could not cook in my kitchen because it was so dirty.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

Did not feel very safe in the area that I lived in. The city was overall very safe.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Copenhagen is very expensive, but was easy if you cooked for yourself and used your food stipend money.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Over on everything, I spent about $4,500
