I had the best time of my life. I learned so much, I experienced a many great things, and I met the love of my life. It was definitely worth while!

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Things were extremely unorganized. Many of the classes we wanted to take, or needed to take, were not offered. One of the teachers was extremely demeaning and didn't handle his teaching methods as great as he should and could have.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program overall was extremely beneficial and an eye-opening experience. Overall, I LOVED it!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Parham Road was an excellent place to live. All my flat mates and my neighbors were fantastic.

* Food:

England doesn't have the greatest food, but ASDA was right down the road and provided us with everything we needed.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Europe is absolutely fascinating and fabulous. I'm moving to London in September. I love everything about overseas!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Canterbury really is a safe city to live in. The only advice I have for future students is until you know the area, don't travel alone! It's easy to get lost in!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I would say about 60 pounds a week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? There really weren't any unexpected expenses. Just manage your time and money wisely!

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
