BU students in the field of education have the opportunity to gain international teaching experience through Boston University’s School of Education and Roehampton University, a leader in teacher education. Situated in a parkland setting in southwest London, Roehampton is one of the largest teacher training centers in Great Britain, with approximately one-third of its 8,000 students enrolled in teacher certification programs. The program includes specialized coursework in cross-cultural studies and a 10 credit practicum teaching in a community institution.
