What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worth while. I felt more comfortable living with American students but also got to interact with locals through my internship. I also enjoyed my classes, and learned things about the British culture through them as well.

BU provides shared kitchens in the dorms. There are no dining halls.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I loved being able to do an internship as part of the program. I really felt like it helped me learn more about the British culture by interacting with locals.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not encounter any health issues.

* Safety:

The BU dorms are in South Kensington, which is a very safe area.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Save up, because you are going to want to travel and see as much as you can when you are there. People said that transportation to other countries was dirt cheap but I found it to be a bit expensive even when using discount airlines.
