What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The program itself and it's personnel are superb. I just didn't like my too easy courses and didn't "click" with my host family. But it was worthwhile, and the excursions were a great learning experience for me.

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | the only reason you'll need more money is if you want to travel. if you go to one other mexican state, for example, get the program to pay so long as it's an academic reason you can find for going, such as joining a student conference organized by the university etc. Any more than one trip that isn't associated [meaning fully paid for] by the program will cost you. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | be picky about family on apps! get exactly what you want! being "open" sounds nice but you want to be as happy as the girl whose host mom takes her out to eat every friday! or less materially, the guy whose host parents don't tell him that he needs to improve his language capabilities! |
