It was absolutely worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself and being on my own allowed me to truly evaluate what it is I want to do with my life and where I want to go.

London is just a very expensive city but it was manageable.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Go grocery shopping and keep food in your dorm- I didn't do this until the second or third week there and I could have saved a lot of money if I had done it from the beginning.
