Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was not a problem. The grading system was confusing, and different, but manageable. It was weight how every class was very much based on essays rather than exams.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I hated Arcadia. The woman that was supposed to help us did absolutely nothing for us.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Proximity to class was perfect. The tube ride was very short and on the same line which made it very easy. However, where the dorm was located there was absolutely no night life. Also, living in a single was rough making friends. The common kitchen was always disgusting and I did not get along with anyone in the hall. Alexander Fleming was in a much better neighborhood and the suite style set up was much better for adapting and making friends.

* Food:

never had a problem with food. Giraffe was a great restaurant!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

AWFUL. There were no special events planned. Unlike every single other abroad program Arcadia did not offer any programs. We paid the same amount as all other students and I feel we really missed out.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

It was very safe. I went home late by myself many times and was never worried.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
