I would say I grew more as a person and i learned a lot more about myself.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I thought some of the courses were easy; however, I enjoyed learning about history and politics from a different perspective.

The resident directors were amazing. There were very welcoming, and I felt conformable talking to them.

The apartments are in the perfect location. It's about a 1 minute walk from the old town of Dubrovnik.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Dubrovnik is a safe area, my friends and I were comfortable walking around the town at any time of the day.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

It a great opportunity to network because the professors has a large field of expertise and experience.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

The cost of living in Croatia is less expensive than the US.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $60
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Tourism season has an impact on prices in Dubrovnik. About after a month of living in Croatia, I started to get the local discount, and once the tourism season ended prices in general decreased.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Most of the classes do not last the entire semester, so it is very possible to finish a course with 2 weeks.
