I had the opportunity to do a bit of solo travel, which was really great and I think helped me grow as a person.

I was thrilled with the community in ASE. I was really worried about making friends, but they did a great job of facilitating community between us and the local community. It's definitely a very hands-on support heavy program, which is really great!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had a better handle on planning food and travel ahead of time. This was my first time being independent of a dining hall/my parents, so cooking could be a bit of a struggle.
