Adelante: Edinburgh - Observation Assignments in Scotland

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how internationally aware citizens from the UK are versus American citizens' knowledge of worldwide affairs, and I learned how to navigate around unfamiliar cities really well.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Adelante was very helpful and supportive, and the experience abroad was great. Scotland is a beautiful country, and the locals are very friendly. I do wish that the program itself had either been shorter or more intensive; since we attended on a veterinary "research assignment," not an internship, my roommate and I weren't allowed to get involved, so I think the program would be better off at four weeks long instead of six weeks. All in all, though, a lovely experience.
