"I learned how to create a good work-life balance and made the most amazing friends! "
Tatia B Wellesley College
"I think more than anything I learned academically (who knows if I'll use italian after graduation), I learned how to be self-sufficient. I was removed from family, a familiar setting, and friends. I learned how to be a better communicator (in italian and in general), provide for myself (cooking/cleaning), and I made it through t..."

"I learned a lot about Shanghai that I could not have previously read about. Academically, I learned a lot about the economic development and the business environment in China. "
A student Wellesley College
"I was very fortunate that I had the chance to be immersed in the Turkish culture and language for 5 months in one of the most spectacular cities in the world so that I could learn more about my Turkish heritage. I was also lucky enough to meet a wonderful group of students while abroad, which included Americans, International st..."

Giao Linh N Wellesley College
"I feel like I've grown a lot as a person and as a student. I've become more independent, improved my french speaking skills, and learned about french culture in a way that can only be taught through full immersion. It was definitely worthwhile. "

"Independence. Self discovery. Life long friendships with Danes and Americans alike. "
A student Wellesley College
"It was the best year of my life and I wouldn't change anything! The only thing I regret is since I traveled like a tourist, I experienced Europe in a very touristic manner and not necessarily how a student who studied in a full immersion program would have."
Katherine S Wellesley College
"I gained more than I can possibly write in this little box!! Language skills, new friends, confidence, independence, self-care and mental health skills, a renewal in my religious faith, lots of recipes...I had the best year of my life here, and I know I'm a different person now than the one I was going in."
A student Wellesley College

Arabella A Wellesley College

Lia D Wellesley College
"Every second of my time abroad was a learning experience, and most of my learning occurred outside of classrooms and lecture halls. "
A student Wellesley College
"I would choose a different program within this university. My overall study abroad experience was worthwhile because of the people I met and the traveling I got to do. The academic experience was poor and hardly an experience at all. I gained a much broader cultural experience from people who I met from other European countrie..."
Victoria P Wellesley College
"Living on my own and navigating my way around a city, I definitely became more independent and felt more "grown up" by the time I returned to the US. I also discovered a passion for architecture and design -- something the Danes do very well -- and plan to pursue a career in that. "
Sarah Koenig Wellesley College
"Yes, definitely worthwhile even just as a break from the constant stress of the home colleges participating in the program."
Anisha V Wellesley College
"I really learned how to be a self-motivated, independent learner and my time management skills got a lot better. I think this will really help me in my future studies. I loved the city of Oxford, which is beautiful, and the libraries, which are incredible resources that you won't find anywhere else, and the tutorial system. I..."

Brynne Ruark Wellesley College

Kimberly C Wellesley College
"It was most definitely worthwhile! Going to NTI was the best experience for me. I came out of the program feeling like a superhero because I knew I had transformed into an artist with an inexhaustible set of skills. For 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 14 weeks, I learned to make theater without excuses. I can move forward in ..."
