"Academically, I think I learned a lot because it was so independent and a lot of the readings were everyday-relevant. Many opportunities opened up for me while I studied at LSE that I don't think would have been available had I not studied abroad. Socially, it was a great opportunity to travel to countries like Italy, Switzer..."

"My spanish improved drastically and my classes helped me to understand the importance of the european union in a global context and think about it on a scale similar to the political goals and challenges of the USA."
judee u Wellesley College
"I gained the realization that one does not always need to be told what to do to make the most of their time. I did not implement this as much as I wanted to, but I feel that the lack of consistent academic rigor could have allowed me to explore the subject matter in a more customized way. I gained the ability to make non-america..."

A student Wellesley College
"It definitely was... the most important thing for me on this trip was the gaining on self-confidence. Wellesley is a tough school: all the women are extremely smart and talented, and sometimes I feel like I am in an intellectual bubble. This program definitely popped that bubble for me and helped me really push myself in the f..."
Tyler B Wellesley College
"It's an amazing experience, I grew a lot as a person and realized how happy socialism can make people. This program is great because you travel a lot and you're exposed to many different Southeast Asian cultures, which you cannot get everywhere. "
Teresa L Wellesley College
"I learned more about myself on this adventure than anything. Completely alone in a new place, I learned more and more about my own ablities and the country from which my ancestors came. I also learned how to cook, which was fantastic. I also picked up a global view and was able to see American from the outside for the first t..."
