Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was well taught.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Everything was well organized so it was easy to participate in this program . It was beyond my expectations they took such good care of everyone.My class size was a good size so the teachers could teach us alot.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Very Clean and really nice rooms, much nicer than any dorm rooms I have seen in the USA. Easy to get to class if you like walking. I felt safe . It was easy to go out shopping or for other entertainment.

* Food:

It was the same as UH food. Food is very cheap so if you don't like the food on campus it is easy to go off campus to eat. food is cheap on campus and of course it taste better off campus.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

all the field trips were great.Making pottery to seeing broadway shows.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I give it a five they were pretty quick to respond whenever someone got sick.The security guards were really attentive.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

They spoke only korean so my hearing improved

Direct Enrollment/Exchange

* Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? Exchange

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It's a good way to finish off your language study requirements in a fun way. If however you are studying korean at the university of Hawaii though the Korean class is much more intense 101 to 201 take at UH .202 is good in korea because you get to practice what you've learned UH teachers really prepare you well. They also have an intense Korean study course you can take which s really good I want to return to take it.
