What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were very interesting. There was a lot of work and readings every night, but it was balanced out with many hours of field work in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and fun. They were fun and easy to interact with outside of the classroom. The one shower per week issue was a little difficult as well as the dorm living situation.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Food was made daily and was pretty good. Since food shipments arrived twice a month, by the end of each shipping period, meals got a little boring.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Everyone spent a great deal of time with each other outside of class, going to beaches or bars. We all got very close with the local people and each other.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Very safe location. Only 1100 people live on the island and there were no incidents.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
