Yes I gained the prospective of others visiting a foreign country which will help me in the long run if I have these students in my classroom.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The experience was amazing the way we learned the Costa Rican culture and having classroom discussions was beneficial. The professors were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Amazing program I think less people would have been more beneficial for traveling. But we had great accommodations and met some amazing people.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Tico's eat a lot of rice and beans chicken and fish. If your diet doesn't allow for those food you may need to rethink your trip.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Zip lining, rainforest, water falls and hot springs.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I always felt safe and was informed on safety and traveling tips by professors and hotel employees.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Souvenirs! You will want to buy a ton of them! Be prepared!
