Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

There was a lot of "hands-on" teaching including field work, cultural trips, etc. The grading system was based on the Spanish grading system. There was a lot of group work.

On-site administration of your program

The administration was very approachable.

* Housing:

I lived with a Spanish woman and had an American roommate. Various families came to stay with us as well. I lived very close to the city center and to classes. I was provided with sheets and towels. I was given 2 meals a day by my host mom and she did my laundry. I only had limited kitchen use. I was treated like a family member.

Delicious food. I went out to eat tapas for dinner.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
