France Study Abroad Reflections: Comprehensive Reviews of Past Programs

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained so much intercultural fluency, and made so much progress in my french language skills (which were already decent). Everyday was an adventure, so yes worthwhile to put it lightly. By the end, the way I saw myself and my future had completely changed. I understand the importance of education overseas, and there's no doubt in my mind I will be going back to France to continue my studies. Finally, I gained friendships with the aixois that will stay with me the rest of my life, and developed a love for the city of Aix that I've never felt for another place.

The Academic or Linguist
You went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you!
