Academics here is competitive and very rigirious.

They are very efficient and nice.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing here is much better than other locations I have visisted. That includes Taiwan.

The best in the world!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Hong Kong people are very nice.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Hong Kong is one of the safest cities in the world. I never worry about my personal safety.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

Everyone can speak english here so practiciing Cantonese can be difficult. Also, never speak mandarine. Hong Kong people do not like it.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Hong Kong is not mainland China. Do not come here expecting to speak mandarine all the time. please respect the local culture.
