Estonia, known as the Republic of Estonia, is located in Northern Europe on the coast of the Gulf of Finland and the Baltic Sea. Estonia is divided into 15 counties with the capital, and largest city, being Tallinn. It is home to 1.34 million residents, which makes it the least populated country in the European Union. Estonia is neighbored by Latvia to the south and Sweden across the Baltic Sea.
