"I learned that I do not want to go into architecture, but I do want to continue to pursue a career in the creative industry. "My experience abroad bolstered my confidence in ways I never expected. I had to be completely self-reliant; I had to cook for myself, make my own travel arrangements, navigate a new city and culture, and be willing to ask questions. "My time abroad was very worthwhile. I learned so much about myself and also about a different culture. I was able to do fieldwork and clinical work that I would not have ever been able to do in the United States. I met some of the most amazing people and learned so much from them. Also, my Spanish improved which is nice."
