"I was able to gain a better understanding of myself (including strengths and weaknesses) and additionally became more independent...in the end making the study abroad experience something that I don't regret doing. But I wouldn't necessarily say that the experience was "worthwhile". Faced a lot of difficulties due to the incon..."

"I learned that "the happiest people on earth" is a hilarious facade maintained by Denmark to ensure that their tourism industry thrives. I understand now why the Nordic countries have such a high suicide rate."

"It teaches you a lot about yourself, and about what you like in life and what you would like to do. It was an invaluable experience, but I would defeinitely reccommend going with a friend, and if you don't like to drink, and/or are involved in your faith community at home, don't expect to find that in Ireland. "

"It was definitely worthwhile but I would have changed some things about my situation such as living and my program. "

"It was extremely worthwhile. Not only do you learn about Europe and what is outside of American walls but you also learn about yourself. You are forced to adapt and it can be very rewarding. It allows you to see the world from a different perspective. "

"Worthwhile. Difficult and trying but definitely an incredible learning experience. It wasn't what I expected at all but I don't regret it in the least. It made me a stronger person, more independent and self-reliant. However, I did feel that it was lacking something -- that sense of adventure, because a lot of other things (scho..."

"Yes, the experience was still worthwhile though it was much more academic than experiential learning which is not as effective. Yes, we discussed very interesting and engaging topics and Argentina does indeed have a rich culture, yet there were no debriefings and this often curbs the learning process. I am more interested in wo..."
