Winterline: Global Skills Program, Gap Year

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I became a much more responsible individual, keeping track of everything and not buying things I didn't need. I learned how to budget and get by with a minimal understanding of a language, as well as becoming more aware of different cultures and customs. It was 100% worthwhile.
