About

Veritas Christian Study Abroad combines exceptional study abroad experiences with intentional missions engagement. During your study abroad program, Veritas connects you with a Mission Mentor and local ministry partners with whom you will serve alongside in Paris.

The City of Lights is home to one of the most diverse populations in the world, with cultures from around the globe bringing their traditions and practices into the metropolis. Exploring the culture in Paris, connecting to Christian community, and serving others will open your eyes to universal human needs and deepen your faith.

Students may partner with the Mission Mentor and the Emmanuel International Church in Paris to reach out to the large student community in the city through campus outreach and language exchange programs. Through practicing language skills, Veritas students build meaningful relationships with French and international students providing opportunities for the gospel and God’s message of hope to be shared. Students may also participate in other ministry opportunities through the local church.  Students will grow in their faith as they discover what it means to be an international missionary, serve others, and gain a global perspective. The Mission Mentor disciples Veritas students in their experiences through prayer, reflection, and spiritual support as well as connects them to ministry partners and local churches. The International Missions/Service-Learning Practicum provides a great opportunity to reinforce the cross-cultural missions experience in-country. Students will receive college credit for the reflection activities, journal entries, and cultural research which enhance the overall experience.

For semester programs, students will take one Veritas course, one International Missions/Service-Learning Practicum, and three-four other courses from the American Business School Paris. French language course is required for beginning language students.

For summer programs, students will take the International Missions/Service-Learning Practicum and one Intensive French Language course taught at the American Business School Paris.
