I learned how to adapt to new living situations, how to interact best with people who came from different backgrounds and worldviews, it was definitely worth it!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cooking for myself the majority of the time and only buying simple/on sale foods. Saved the bulk of my money for the occasional eating out where I would splurge a bit more.
