Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Very different from Wellesley College style of teaching with larger class sizes and less discussions with professors, however it was still very educational.

It was a great contrast from Wellesley and to be honest was a greatly needed break from all the intense work.

Finances

The groceries were on a bit on the expensive side.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Get a Clubcard for groceries and look up deals online in advance for weekend activities.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The student life is much different then what I was anticipating, which isn't a bad thing. I just didn't exactly know what I was getting my self into.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
