I really enjoyed living in UniFlats. They were very helpful and friendly. |

The food is very similar to food in The United States. |

Living at UniFlats really helped integrate with students from other cultures and gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of people. |

I didn't need health care during my time abroad so I can not accurately answer this question. |

I felt very safe at The University of Otago. There was always security on campus so I felt comfortable walking on campus at any time. |

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
New Zealand is very expensive. You can easily spend 100 New Zealand dollars on groceries a week. However if you get the bare minimum and make a lot of sandwiches/ ramen noodles/ etc. you could save money on groceries. |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | about $100 USD. Rent was about USD$750/month (which is about $1000 New Zealand dollars at the time ) |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | If you want to travel in New Zealand I recommend buying an old car with a group of people. You will save a lot of money on travel in the long run if you have a car. You can sell the car when you leave. |
