The school offered orientation for a day, but besides that no one from the school ever checked in with us or planned events for the study abroad students until the day before we left. |

The apartment was great. Only complaints is the fridge is tiny for 6 people to share. |

I ended up going to 2 separate hospitals. I was bit by a dog and had to get stitches. The doctor said to me in English, that I was going to die.....Additionally I went to another hospital for flu like symptoms. Turned out that I had appendicitis and I had to have surgery to remove my appendix. None of the nurses spoke english. I did not find out until twelve hours after surgery that they had taken out my appendix. Awful experience because of the language barrier, but I do think the doctors knew what they were doing. |
