Sublime. Past Review

The School for Field Studies / SFS: Cambodia – Environmental Justice and Mekong Ecologies

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
A nuanced perspective about the world and the different conditions governing it and people inhabiting it. A new appreciation for responsible environmental policy and ethics, admiration for people whose livelihoods and cultural contexts engage with the natural world differently, extraordinary emotional connection with people whose experiences differ from my own. I wouldn't trade anything for it -- my time abroad has rewritten how I see so much.
