Venture behind the headlines with The New York Times in Florence, Italy, and Oxford, England as you delve into topics prominent in Times coverage. Tap into your personal and international interests with guidance from knowledgeable and engaging leaders and the insights of a New York Times expert. Begin your journey at a sprawling villa in Florence, followed by a stay on campus at Oxford as you explore one or two themes of your choosing:

• Arts and Culture
• Current Events: Behind the Headlines
• International Relations and Economics

The New York Times Oxford and Florence program is tailored for motivated, adventurous and curious high school students who are eager to pursue their passions in a dynamic community of peers with diverse interests. Through hands-on, field-based exercises and experiences and meetings with professionals and experts, dive into the many facets and real-world applications of your chosen theme. Participate in discussions with your New York Times expert and group leaders who provide the foundation to help you interview locals, meet with leaders at relevant organizations and immerse yourself in the Italian or British perspective. Develop a project that shows off your new skills and knowledge about your theme or themes.
