I gained insight into how other parts of the world live and learned about their values, customs, and norms. It was leap outside of my comfort zone and allowed me open my eyes even more to opportunities, sites, and experiences I never thought I would have. I learned from TEAN to think: "It's not wrong, it's just different." Th... - Augsburg College View Entire Review

So much of what I learned while studying abroad in Wellington cannot be taught in a classroom, nor could you fully grasp the enormity of it's importance to my life simply by me telling you. The only way to have become who I am today, a better version of who I was five months ago, was to live and enjoy every moment of my time in ... - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh View Entire Review

I learned how to travel on a budget while gaining a better sense of the person I want to be. Nothing is more eye opening than meeting a vast amount of people from different cultures and making their culture a part of yours. - DePaul University View Entire Review
This program helped me to grow up a lot and be a lot more independent which I think a lot of American students don't always get from going to college like our parents did when they were our age. I also learned a lot about other cultures and learned to appreciate them from a different perspective. I couldn't have learned the thin... - Drake University View Entire Review
My experience with TEAN were unbelievable. Right out of the starting gate they fully immerse you within the culture so that you are not taken back when you are left on your own. I met a lot of other students on different programs that seemed to be getting suffocated by their programs. TEAN allowed me to actually experience New Z... - College of Charleston View Entire Review

Yes, more than anything, my study abroad experience was worthwhile. I can't imagine not having done it now. I learned so much about myself living in New Zealand. If you have any slight leaning to study abroad, do it.
