How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Maintenance took 3 months to address our issue of a broken heater - but otherwise the housing was great.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt incredibly integrated but only by my own doing - you had to make an effort to meet locals (who were all incredibly welcoming to us) but the housing situation and program kind of set you up to hang out mostly with other American exchange students

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Wellington is really expensive - but budgeting is possible.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?

  • Cost is a bit high

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Wellington is not warm. Pack clothes and be prepared for lots of rain and wind and gloom.
