The Happiest 5 Months of My Life Past Review

By (Communication and Media Studies, Emmanuel College (Massachusetts)) - abroad from 01/13/2015 to 05/23/2015 with

The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Thailand - Semester in Chiang Mai

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
TEAN really makes sure that you get comfortable in your new environment, and that means living with the locals. You learn so much more this way, about the Asian culture and way of life. It was absolutely worthwhile, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
