I was able to gain a sense of independence and got to experience doing certain things for the first time on my own.

TEAN Abroad really helped provide an enjoyable experience and aided in me feeling comfortable. They were always available to answer any questions I had.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Approximately $100-150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I highly recommend making a budget and stick to that. It is very easy to get caught up in everything and start spending money without the understanding of how much you're actually spending.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It is a huge adjustment being all the way across the world but challenge yourself to go out of your comfort zone and give yourself a new chance in a new place.
