This was my first time studying abroad and I found every second of it worthwhile. I learned a lot about being independent and experiencing a new part of the world on my own. This experience definitely made me feel more confident in myself and my ability to take on new challenges. TEAN helped me become comfortable in Sydney while... It was so worthwhile! I learned a lot about myself and I grew in so many ways. I also grew on an academic level. This was my first time out of the country, so now I feel as if I can conquer the world. Victoria Guasco - Florida Gulf Coast University View Entire Review

I became so much more independent and gained many new perspectives. I learned to make the most of every day, because I had such a limited amount of time there. it was 100% worthwhile, because I got to meet so many amazing people and travel to places I never would've had the opportunity to go to and do some things I never would'v... I absolutely loved my 5 month long study abroad experience through TEAN. I lived in the heart of Sydney and studied at UTS. Every day was a new adventure, whether it was walking to Darling Harbour, taking the train to Circular Quay to a) stare at the Opera House or b) take a ferry to Manly Beach or Watsons Bay or c) walk around ... It did end up setting me back a semester from graduating, but it was so much fun that I don't mind and it was very worthwhile. I'm not sure I learned a lot of new things about being abroad because I had already lived for a year in another country before I went to Australia. I gained an experience that I will cherish :). The experience of spending a semester abroad was unbelievably worthwhile and I would do anything to do it over again. I learned so much about independence and, ultimately, myself. Nicolina Trimarche - Florida Gulf Coast University View Entire Review
I was able to gain a sense of independence and got to experience doing certain things for the first time on my own. Danielle Macedo - Quinnipiac University View Entire Review
I learned more about myself during my study abroad experience than I ever thought I would. I learned that the world is so vast, and there is so much to experience and learn, and you can only do that if you put yourself out there. I would say that my biggest takeaway from abroad is to not hesitate, don't question, and don't waste... Rachel Gordon - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor View Entire Review
I gained new friends and amazing experiences. I learned about engineering from an Australian point of view, which was enlightening to my studies. I learned more about myself which gave me enough direction to know how I want to go about the rest of my university studies. I learned how to live frugally on my own and how to make th... Looking back at the 4.5 months that I was abroad, I could actually pin point the time that period that I really started to transform and grow. It was after a 10 day trip up to Cairns, I started hiking every weekend, and adapted to a healthy life style. I was more energetic, constantly going to new places and seeing new things, a...
