I learned a lot about myself as a person while abroad. It opened my eyes to the importance of traveling and living in a new place. Being abroad opened my eyes to different cultures. I've always lived in the United States, always in Texas, and people here are very different compared to those in Australia. It was a completely worthwhile experience. tory.haddix - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review

I wouldn't want to change anything about my semester in Sydney. I loved the experience of living a different lifestyle in a new culture, traveling more in the five months I was there than I have in my whole life, and making so many new friends that I can't wait to see back in the States. It's an opportunity you can't turn down! Alex S - University of Maryland - College Park View Entire Review

I grew as a person. Now that I'm back in America, I know that I need to go back. I had planned on going straight to graduate school after undergrad, but now I'm thinking about taking a year off and moving there. I might even go to grad school there! I gained cultural knowledge and understanding. Although there is no language barrier, there is still difference in culture. It was very worthwhile because I took that with me and am using it in the United States. It is simply to be more relaxed. Alexander Mines - University of Miami View Entire Review

Aside from making new friends, both from the program and local people, I learned a lot about myself and about cultures I have never encountered before. Absolutely, I learned so much about myself, Australia and even America. I fell in love with Australia and definitely plan on going back.
