What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Studying abroad is 100% worth it. I absolutely loved every second of my experience in Australia. I learned a lot about myself and really how to live on my own...life gets difficult when mom and dad are on the other side of the world!!!

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 6 months+

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It seems that it is a lot of work but in short periods of time which is nice when you're studying abroad. You definitely need to put the work in, but don't worry its not too much!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Our in-country supervisors were always available if we needed anything at all!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived literally RIGHT on the beach so it was awesome!

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

On campus health services are great!

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

everything in Sydney is extremely expensive (or so it seems), so spend wisely!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Only buy the things that you really think you need...I personally found that I was buying food that I didn't end up eating

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew a little bit more about Sydney as a whole and had a list of places and things that I 100% wanted to do before I left. I felt that when the time came to leave I found all of these really cool things to do that I couldn't.
