What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience abroad was so rewarding. I was able to explore and fully feel like I was a part of a different culture. The Education Abroad Network was there every step of the way to make me feel comfortable and help me with anything I needed.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The university was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire semester. TEAN also was always there to help and had great class recommendations.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in the Meriton and loved it! It was gorgeous and was so much fun living with so many other TEAN students.

* Food:

The food in Sydney was incredible!!! Every restaurant was better than the next.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Since there is no language barrier it was very easy to become friends with locals. Locals were all so nice!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Healthcare was completely free at school.

* Safety:

I felt really safe and comfortable in all of Australia, especially Sydney.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Australia, in general, is much more expensive than America but it is possible to budget yourself.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Eat in as much as you can.
