Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I did an internship abroad last summer with TEAN and it was an incredible experience. Not only was I lucky enough to travel to Australia, which has always been a dream of mine, but I got a lifetime of work experience in my field of interest. TEAN did a great job matching me with the perfect internship. I worked at a small film company and learned skills in editing, music, and recording devices. I was able to take home a lot of useful information while also getting the trip of a life time. TEAN provided great activities outside of the internship as well. 10/10 recommend, also enjoy every moment of it because 10 weeks really does go fast!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Australia is a beautiful country and having a advisor throughout the whole process was great! We all got recommendations of places that were a must see and things we had to do.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Imagine living in the middle of Timesquare in New York, thats how i felt living in the middle of George Street in Sydney. Perfect location.

* Food:

Have you ever eaten Kangaroo? Something I never thought I would, and probably will never again. It was well worth the experience to say that i've tried it though.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Working at a film company made traveling and seeing different parts of Australia a part of my everyday week. This was something I also really valued with the internship.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

TEAN was great, I had no complaints

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I came home with an extra $2k. The most you will spend on is traveling, the train took about $50 per week. Also if you want to travel to other parts of Australia. Shopping is also experience but well worth it.

You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
