What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
From this internship i was able to gain real world experience. In addition, I learned about the landscape industry.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The Global Remote internship gave me 3 summer credits. Throughout the course an academic advisor would check on the progress of the projects and at the end we had to write a self reflection on the experience.

Throughout my four week internship, TEAN would host coffee catch ups so we could talk bout our experience and voice any difficulties we were having.

the internship was done remotely, from the comfort of my home

During the 4 week global remote internship I was placed with an Australian company, Aspect Studios, I along with 3 other team members worked on a market research project. I would not trade this experience for anything as I was able to gain real world knowledge in my field.

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I was able to complete and international internship without the financial burdens that come with traveling
