Crusading Christchurch Past Review
By Megan S (Communication and Media Studies, Green Mountain College) - abroad from 02/05/2015 to 12/30/2015 with
The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Christchurch - University of Canterbury
I gained so many new friends that I intended to keep for a long time. I learned how to roll with whatever life throws at you. I learned that things will not always go exactly as planned and that is completely okay, but working through it will make you smarter and stronger. I gained knowledge on how to communicate with people who you are much different than myself. And finally I gained confidence in every aspect of my life.

There was an advisor in our city, but we only met up a few times. I never really needed her, but it was nice to have the peace of mind that there was someone there if I did need something. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
