What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned an incredible amount about Pacific and Oceanic culture. I have a completely new perspective on life and how everyone everywhere is different but in a good way.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The Education Abroad Network ensured that I could take classes that I was interested in, as well as ensuring that the classes would further my education!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

TEAN Abroad has amazing administrators and staff on every campus who make all your experiences just that much better!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

TEAN helped me pick my housing based off of my priorities and I couldn't have been happier with how things turned out.

* Food:

Auckland has every type of food you can imagine and will never disappoint no matter the food you're craving.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

TEAN helped us make sure we were interacting with the local culture as much as possible; keeping a core group of friends in your study abroad group is amazing but they help you step out of your comfort zone and feel like a real native!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The safest I've ever felt walking around a metropolitan area!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I debated between going with TEAN abroad or IFSA, and chose TEAN abroad. The program that they had set up was life changing and made me feel like i got the most out of my study abroad experience!

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It was very easy to live on a student's budget while abroad! New Zealand is not too expensive especially to travel and make new memories.
