What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained more than I could put it into words. It was not only worthwhile, but the best five months of my life. I learned that I really can live on my own and handle my own problems. I gained lifelong friends and a deeper love for traveling. I wouldn't be the same person if I hadn't gone abroad.
